HEALING NATIONS COMPASSION TRIP
GUATEMALA, JULY 2025
One week before the team was set to depart for Guatemala, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck with its epicenter right near the Medical Ministry Center. After determining it would be safe for the team to make the trip still, they shifted gears to focus on earthquake relief.
The team was able to do repair work on Medical Ministry Center, repairing cracks in the walls and drywall. In addition, the team also made several visits the community of Santa Maria de Jesus which was hardest hit by the earthquake. Together with the ministry of Cosechando Felicidad, they were able to deliver food and other supplies to families who have had little access to resources since the earthquake happened.
