Mountain View Fellowship returned to Honduras to continue investing in their ongoing relationship with Cristo Centro Peñasquitos. As part of their partnership, Mountain View Fellowship has taken over the management of Cristo Centro’s child sponsorship program, so a big part of this trip was in getting to spend time with the children and elderly in the program.

Cristo Centro has also been seeking opportunities to share the love of Christ in big ways within their own communities. During their visit, Mountain View Fellowship got to join them at an outreach at a local elementary school where they helped paint some classrooms and spent time interacting with the kids. The team also visited the local hospital alongside the church to pray for and offer encouragement to those receiving care in the hospital and those waiting outside to still receive it.

The relationships that MVF church has there with the sponsored families are so encouraging and such a demonstration of faith, hope, and love that only Jesus can be in the midst of with language barriers and cultural differences.”
