Day Four – A Cross Set on the Hill
Before I tell you about our amazing fourth day spent in Antigua I would like to express my feeling of the overall experience. This is my first time with Healing Nations and my first medical mission. I am so grateful for this opportunity, that for me, seems to have fallen out of the sky (thank you Reba). God has very recently re-entered my life, or rather he has always
Building Bridges
Building Bridges Today was a day about building bridges. This was the first day to meet our Haitian families. At the beginning, there were some awkward moments and fear of the unknown. Humbled
If I had to sum up this week in one word, I would choose ‘humbled’. First, humbled by the fact that I’m even here! The Lord (and Debbie) has given me such an amazing gift to allow me to be back in Guatemala when it wasn’t a thought in my mind two weeks ago. I’m also humbled to serve the Guatemalan people as a student nurse, gaining so much knowledge from the amazing nurses
